Life Coaching For Relationships •

Hello, my name is Susan Wagener, and I am a Professional Christian Certified Life Coach. I have been married to my husband, Ron, for over 39 years. Together we have raised five children; four girls and one boy. We are now enjoying our ten grandchildren; four girls and six boys.

I obtained my Bachelors of Science degree in Counseling and Psychology from Crown College (http://www.crown.edu) located in Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota. I received my Christian Life Coaching Certification from the Professional Christian Coaching & Counseling Academy (http://www.pccca.org) located in Cape Coral, Florida.

For the past 30 years I have worked in the business arena as an administrative support person. I have also been involved in the school system as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional. One of my life-long dreams was to receive my college degree. So when my youngest daughter was in her final year at college, I decided it was time for me to go back to school. It felt natural for my major to be in counseling and psychology because I have been told many times that I have the gift of counseling. What felt scary to me was becoming a student when I was in my early 50’s. But I believed that God had called me into this new adventure that would lead me into a new career, so I pursued my degree with a passion that I had never known before.

As I reflect back on my life, I can see how God has led me through the depths of trials to the heights of tribulations in order that I might experience the fullness of his love for me. Through experiencing trouble in my marriage, God walked with me sending people into my life who taught me what love is and how God designed marriage to work for his glory. God gave me strong-willed children so that I could learn to see things through another’s eyes and grow in patience and understanding. God continues to bring experiences in my life to grow me in my relationships here on earth as well as my relationship with him.

God has given me those particular experiences to prepare me for the job he wants me to do. When people go through a trial in their life, they usually will listen to someone who has already walked the course. Their story can give others hope and the confidence that they too can get through it. Their support is priceless when giving others the courage to move forward and succeed in overcoming the obstacle(s) that keep them from the fullness of life.

Eph 3:16-19:
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is.
May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

My experience includes working with couples in troubled marriages for over ten years along with my own personal marriage experience. I am certified in the Prepare/Enrich program for married and engaged couples, and I am in the process of completing my training for ministry in Theophostic Prayer.
